I might mention an incident many years ago on having a very small knife re-moved from my shoulder bag at the carry on scanner. The item was put in an envelope and turned over to the pilot for safe keeping until we landed at destination. About half way to our destination the pilot came through the cabin and handed me the brown envelope with my name on it, and much to my surprise said... " Here you are sir, might as well have this back now as we'll be there soon and I don't want to forget returning it to you!!" What are the bets that would happen today! ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marc James Small" <msmall@roanoke.infi.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Sunday, September 30, 2001 5:20 PM Subject: [Leica] Security and Selenium Meters > At 04:53 PM 9/30/01 -0700, Ted Grant wrote: > >No that isn't logical one iota > > > I agree that we need to develop logical work-arounds, though I don't see > the major problem in having a selenium meter accompany the pilot instead of > taking up space in my pocket. > > Marc > > msmall@roanoke.infi.net FAX: +540/343-7315 > Cha robh bąs fir gun ghrąs fir! > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
