I was on the phone a few hours ago with Ries Tripods in Seattle trying to order
a wood tripod but they wouldn't let me.
I've got to wait until a special professional rep. calls me in the morning as i
am a photographer.

I doubt they're going to offer me a deal they're just going to make a strong
convincing argument that i not get the cheapest one they've got and I'm not sure
I'm going to want to hear it as the price goes up quick.
But I'm excited about shooting with a wooded tripod on my drive to San Antonio
from Portland and back.
I think I'll look like this:

but the tripod should be not so skinny!

I wonder if you could have a tripod made up to look like a replica of the Eiffel
tower? Would it not get you busted in France?
