It's relatively light and small. Plus, it comes apart easily. I don't think it was ever designed for transportation. I bought it 12-years ago. I needed an enlarger that I could set up in a bathroom and take down easily. It uses the same neg carrier as a Focomat 1c. I've seen a few Valloys for sale over the years, but they always seem to be missing the carrier. The suitcase enlarger sounds pretty cool! Pretty neat and like an idiot I didn't buy it. feli - -- ________________________________________________________________________ "It's truly one of those shows where you just keep expecting Allen Funt to come bursting out from behind some 2-way mirror and explain that you've been on candid camera for 3 years." -Ethan Ormsby on the status of production, 1999 ________________________________________________________________________ Feli di Giorgio * Compositing Supervisor * DIGITAL DOMAIN feli@d2.com * Ext. 3074 - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
