I bought by V-35 a few months ago and fired it up last >night. Works fine. However, I am wondering if Focomat V-35 came with a >red filter you could slide across to block the light coming via the lens >so as to adjust the position of the paper before printing. On other >enlargers I have used this has been a useful tool. There appears to be >a place to mount on the V-35 (a rod w/ a screw on the end of it). If it >did come with one, I'd be interested in getting pointers on where to buy >one. I will also be looking for a 3rd party solution. Thanks. /matt > No place to put a red filter that I am aware of. As far as I know, The rod you mention is meant for a diffusion filter to use when taking density readings with a device such as the focometer. Most people just use the reverse side of a print (as a dummy) and position the easel and adjust the magnification to get the desired image then proceed from there. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
