When we think sports we almost always think action. But some of the greatest sports shots of all time didn't involve action. They involved capturing the right moment. No camera is better for that than the M6. Lots of timeless sports shots were taken with cameras like a Speed Graphic. There are some great sports photographs from the early half of the 20th Century. Most were taken with normal lenses. Not a tele or a wide. I shot one of may favorite all time sporting photographs with a Nikonos. I played water polo in college. Once when we scrimmaged the US Olympic team I photographed from underwater. There's a reason why you wear two speedos when you play water polo. My only tip, FWIW, is don't try and imitate the type of shot you can get with a long lens on an autofocus body. Think different. Be creative. Immerse yourself in the sport. Don't just view it from a distance. Dave
