Build quality isn't too bad, considering it is a fraction of the cost of the 21mm ASPH. The only irritant IMHO is its small size - it feels a bit strange on the camera. The upside is that it takes the same size filters as the 35mm f2 and 50mm f2, which is important for me as I do mainly B&W work.
