The two girls shot is very telling - "no access for us'ns..." As for the anger...it has never changed anything - look at Ireland, the middle east, croatia. serbia africa, etc etc etc as infinitum. I watched a video last night on the shaeed (suicide bombers in Palestine)...Teaching young, uneducated, economically deprived boys the way to heroism and salvation is through suicide and murder.... At this stage in my life I'm really trying to give up the anger and overcome it with something more powerful - the best word I can think of to describe it is compassion. In the end, we can only change ourselves. Life is to short to be angry. trish ternahan@gentlelens.net > From: "Steve LeHuray" <icommag@toad.net> > Reply-To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Date: Fri, 07 Sep 2001 09:21:33 -0500 > To: Leica <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us>, LEG <leica@topica.com>, SP > <streetphoto@topica.com> > Subject: [Leica] wk36/sl > > > I do not know what it is, but, as I get older I seem to be getting angrier. > Never been very mellow, but now there is a tension in the air that is > getting to me. > > Last week I was walking around the White House area where in a couple weeks > I will be there for 2 or 3 days because of the upcoming WTO/IMF protests. > 100,000 protesters are predicted to show up.
