Thanks, all, for your recommendations! Unfortunately, I did not have time to
go out and buy film, so I checked my garage fridge and found Delta 400 b&w
to be the only 400 or greater ISO therein. At the theater I opened up the 90
APO all the way to f/2, prefocused to infinity, and shot easily through the
night.....when I wasn't laughing hard at the bawdy humor in "Kiss Me, Kate".
Seeing the stage act was like drinking several glasses of champagne, and the
experience will be enhanced post-viewing by printing the roll of Delta and
making prints in my darkroom. BTW, the shutter on the M6 TTL didn't bother
those sitting around me, although somebody nearby probably thought I was an
idiot because I wasn't using a flash! Had they mentioned that to me, I would
have told them to go out and buy a fast Leica M lens and an M6 and try it
themselves!!
