M6 with 35 f/2, M42 with 50 Summicron, a 24mm and about 10 rolls of Provia 100 and a set of spare batteries for the R8 and M6.... Extra film and everything else stays inside my locked bag in the hotel.... This past weekend I went down to the coast to shoot humpback whales... I was going to go for an exclusive Leica shooting weekend.... but chickened out in the end and took a second Domke Bag to have a 17-35 zoom and the option of AF and motor.... I need to get some wide angles lenses for my R8..... Anyhow... in the end... the water was rough with some pretty large swells and I found myself leaning over the back of the boat.... Losing my breakfast did appear to bring the whales in closer.... at least that's what the rest of the people on the boat said as they encouraged me to keep throwing up....... I managed to get a few decent shots that look much better than I remember...... I'll get some of them up on my site eventually.... We also went out to the Isla de la Plata Island.... which is kind of like the Galapagos.... pretty wild to be 3 feet away from blue footed and masked boobies..... I could have spent a couple of days out there... oh well another time.... Duane HCJB World Radio Quito Ecuador Duane's Photographs of Ecuador http://ecuadorphotos.tripod.com
