Interestingly enough, I recently had the RF/VF assembly on 1 of my IIa's cleaned by Ken Ruth & the improvement was dramatic. I eventually plan to have the same magic performed on all my Contaces. However, I would still say, that even the cleaned IIa's viewfinder is not as bright to my eyes as either my M2 or M3. Perhaps it's more a function of the physically larger size of the M2/M3 VF openings, the greater magnification of the M3 (maybe the same reason why the VF on my II seems brighter than the IIa's), & the more pronounced green tint of the Contax VF. I'd suggest you have the RF/VF assemblies on your Contaces cleaned, Mr Chen. The Contax has the cleanest, brightest such unit ever placed on an RF camera. Puts all my M's to shame, they do.
