I've been using that lens as it my first 35 mm lens on my M2 and I enjoyed it very much. Some images with a very special look, depending on lighting conditions, f stop used and maybe some other unknown stuff took images with a sort of creamy-dreamy look. When I switched to the 35/2 I was so happy but I now miss that look. And some pastel tones very nice rendered on Fuji 800 Press film. - -- Pablo Kolodny www.pablokolodny.com > From: "Mārtiņš Zelmenis" <martin@lrpv.lv> > Reply-To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2001 09:21:26 +0300 > To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Re: Noctilux for Rabs > > > Well - probably it's the matter of pictures you desire to get (and it's > likely the film speed has to be taken into account as well) - of course, > Summaron JUST CAN'T provide the crispness of your 24/2.8, but the flare / > fuzzy effect you get IMHO can be pleasing to the eye.
