I did have the 20-35 in my vest pocket, just in case. In this one, I
didn't plan to get mauled, as we had a birthday party to attend for a
friend's 3 year old. 
As it turned out the place was closed. There was a sign on the door
saying no such event was taking place, etc., with the usual
miss-understood-white-people-we-ain't-done-nothing-wrong litany.
