Hi Frank,

If your 1.00 has a minus in front of it on our prescription you will need a
- -1.00 lens insert for your M6 viewfinder. If your 1.00 has a plus sign in
front of it on your prescription you will need a +1.00 lens insert for your
M6 viewfinder.

Keep it simple.  Leitz has done all the hard optical calculations for us.
