Is it from scanning or is it actually on your negative? The reason I ask is because I have noticed a similar thing on one of my prints. After examining my negative, I noticed a fine black line running 3/4 the length of the negative and of course when printed shows up as a white line. I thought it may be a light leak (cassette or shutter) but this has only appeared on one frames and only 1 roll of film. Very strange... Also, Glad to hear that you're getting you M6 back. j.
