I've seen screw mount lenses that are nearly 1/4 turn off, even with Leica brand adapters or on Leica LTM bodies. On the other hand, I prefer things to line up nicely as well, so Voigtländer lenses that I've acquired get mounted on the adapter rings and then I check where they line up. If they line up at 11:55 or so (which is what they seem to start out at) I just use them for a bit, and shortly they wind up at 12:00. Then I use a bit of the blue Loktite to hold them in place. This doesn't work of course if you need to unscrew them regularly. - -- * Henning J. Wulff /|\ Wulff Photography & Design /###\ mailto:henningw@archiphoto.com |[ ]| http://www.archiphoto.com
