BTW If you have plastic lenses, the N*k*n ones with the anti-sctrach and
anti glare coatings are Excellent!

Old ones with so called "non-scratch" coating would generally last me 3-4
months professional photography until I could barely see through the damn
things. Under the same circumtsances (including about 21/2 months in dusty
Cenertal America at trhe height of the dry season + Yellowknife, with plenty
of non-metalled roads is always dusty in summmer..) my N*k*n lenses didn't
show a scratch until well over a year. When I changed them they were about
two years old and still in better nick than any other plastic ones I have.

Also, the anit-glare coating is great too - incredibly clear.

I hate glass lenses for my eyes - they weigh a ton...
