My first lens was the 1:2/35 ASPH, and it's great. It is still the lens that I use most of the time. I may eventually get the 28, but it's beyond my budget right now, and in any case, I expect that the 35 will continue to be my main lens. It is a matter of personal preference, not MTF charts. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Simon ALIBERT" <simonalibert@mac.com> To: "Leica List!" <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, August 03, 2001 16:21 Subject: [Leica] My heart say the 35mm f2 ASPH :-) > Hi, > > I'm not yet a Leica user, but I'm going to make the big step pretty soon, my > question is quite simple, since I've got a 24mm (Nikon), 35mm(Hexar AF), I > was wondering which lens I should buy, my heart say the 35mm f2 ASPH, but I > heard a lots of good things about the new 28mm f 2 ASPH ... > Should I sell my Hexar and bought the 35 Summicron ?
