Er, huh?  It depends on what you mean by "leading".  Sure, more people shoot
35mm than MF, no doubt...but not because of purely image quality, which is
probably reasonably indistinguishable in 4x6 prints done at a local
mini-lab.

The difference in a 20x24 shot with high end 35mm vs high end MF IS
consistently obvious and large...  Of course, assuming proper exposure, same
film, proper development, and proper printing.  What ever "proper" means ;-)
