Subject: [Leica] Olympus 4 cm f2.8

This is one of those "close the barn doors after the horse has escaped"
questions. On impulse, I picked up a 4 cm f2.8 Olympus Zuiko lens with
finder, caps and case in Leica screw mount. It is a focal length that I
like to use, and the lens seems very compact (at least in pictures I've
seen). It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm wondering if anyone has used on of
these and if so, what your opinion is of this lens' performance. I'm not
expecting something to compare with the 40mm lenses for the Leica CL or
Minolta CLE, but still have hopes for this. I generally have had good
experience with Olympus glass, but this example is early prewar and may not
be cut from the same cloth as the more recent lenses.

In general, I'm interested in any info that people may have on this --
what the optical formula is, about how many were made (it seems to be a
fairly uncommon lens), etc.
