These luggers like pictures of people, but this is YOUR Picture-a-week. If you want to take shots of toads, do so. If you want to take pictures of drooling street people, then do that. I kinda like the cute Asian girls more than toads and drooling street people. You may use color, you may use black and white. I am most happy shooting color, so that is what I do, but I need to challenge myself to become a little uncomfortable, and I just bought some BW Portra. Since it is a Leica group, it is most appropriate that you use a Leica, but even the guy (K.C.) who thought this up doesn't always do that. The critics can help you by pointing out things you do not notice. But remember, it is their opinion. You have an opinion too; yours is the most important here. This is not a photo contest. The critics are not judges. If I got it right, the PAW is not about pleasing people. It is about challenging yourself to go out there and take some pictures. I enjoy this stuff. It makes me go out and take some pictures. Regards, SonC, who is somewhat grumbly today, but means everything he has said. http://www.SonC.com > No one except me liked my first effort a PAW.
