Now of course I need lenses to put on it (and focussing mounts too, I guess). I'm thinking of longer lenses rather than macro(the idea of a 400/6.8 is kind of cool). I was wondering if people had recommendations or advice, both about lenses and the Visoflex in general. > > Paul > Paul, think big. The 800mm f/6.3 Telyt-S was made in a Visoflex version :) I found the 280mm f/4.8 Telyt-V was a good choice as long as you keep the front element shaded. I've also heard of (and been unsuccessful finding) a book of photographs of birds, made with a Viso and 400 f/6.8; the author's name is Ury, I think. I suspect with the chimney finder you'd be working from a tripod, though. - -- Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com _______________________________________________ Get your free email from http://webmail.earthlink.net
