The bokeh on the Xenon is so bizarre that it looks Photoshopped. All of the Noctilux images do seem to have a unique quality about them, although I'm not sure what it is. It certainly seems to shine in low light (no pun intended). - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Zeissler, Mitch" <mzeissle@gcipoa.gannett.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, July 13, 2001 14:33 Subject: [Leica] Noctilux images posted to web > All... > > I have been overwhelmed with requests to see the Noctilux panorama > image, and was able to post it early this morning. > http://members.aol.com/zeissleica/private/Silver.JPG > M3, Noctilux 50/8.0 @ 250, Velvia 50 @ ISO 40, tripod, mid-afternoon > > > This is a shot of Red Mountain taken from our property [the ridge we > took the pano from is in the left portion of the frame]. > http://members.aol.com/zeissleica/private/Red_mount.jpg > M3, Noctilux 50/16.0 @ 250, Scala 200, handheld, mid-morning [the same > day as the pano] > > > This is a shot of a Bird of Paradise I posted a long time ago, but this > scan is superior. > http://members.aol.com/zeissleica/private/Bird2.jpg > M3, Noctilux 50/1.0 @ 1000, Velvia @ ISO 40, handheld, dusk > > > This is a shot from Vienna, Austria. > http://members.aol.com/zeissleica/private/Perchtoldsdorf.jpg > M3, Noctilux 50/1.0 @ 60, Provia 100F, handheld, evening > > > This is a shot using a 1937 Leitz Xenon lens.
