Subject: [Leica] Polaroid future

I can't help wondering whether I will be able to use my polaroid back on
my Hassy if Polaroid goes under. On the other hand, maybe eventually
someone can come up with a digital proofing back. I'm imagining a huge
but lo-res CCD chip (possible? impossible - I'm not qualified to know)
coupled to an LCD screen on the back.

Could any engineers comment? It would be sad to lose the polaroid
facility. The ability to proof before committing to film is one of the
main advantages of medium and larger formats & one of the few reasons I
don't just photograph everything on my Leicas.
