Currently I shoot with a 35 and 90 Summilux. The 35 is ASPH, the 90 is a Canadian build. My style of shooting leads to about 90% usage of the 35, but I am starting to shoot in some situations where I need something longer, but the 90 is both too slow and too long. I have never really liked the 50 which is the main reason why I am considering the 75. Why do people love the 50 so much? Why do you say you would never give up the 50? Can someone explain to me why the 50 is considered such a wonderful lens? Another question I have, how does the bokeh compare on the 75 compared to the 50 Summilux and 50 Sumicron? It is my understanding that the modern 50's are both ASPH, correct? B. D. recommended the Cosina/Voiglander Nokton f 1.5, So the sharpness is outstanding, how does it's bokah compare to Leica's bokah? I enjoy the sharpness of the Leica, I love the bokah:) It is the bokah that is making me consider selling the Nikon's and moving the Leica SLR's, as well... Leica Shooter P.S. The fact that the Nikkor 50 f/1.4 I own is so F@$#in soft that a disposable camera has superior optics has not helped my opinion of the 50. The Nikkor I own was the first AF f/1.4. Pure crape!
