[Leica] New member

Hi there!

I'm a new member of the digest-version of this mailinglist. I have become a
member for I have plans to buy a Leica M-system later this year. I already
have a Nikon AF- and a Hasselblad system and I'm looking for a
rangefinder-systeem to extend my 'view'. Of all systems Leica M is my
favourite system (at this moment, that is!).

I will read as much as I can in the coming months to find out all I need to
know about the M-system in order to make a good, well thought out choice. I
have already seen a few familiar names here that contribute to the Nikon
and/or Hasselblad lists, so I'm very confident I will find what I'm looking
for on this list as well.

What I am looking for? Practical information about the use of the system,
opinions about the bodies, lenses and accesoiries for the M-system. I can't
contribute to this list for I haven't got a Leica...yet.

For now I would like to know what M-bodies are used most and why? Which
bodies should be avoided and why? How useful is a built-in lightmeter (M5 +
M6) for I am used to use an external one with my Hassy?
