What happens sometimes with the "street photographer" eye is, he or she only sees the couple on the wall or the man on the bench and too often miss the complete picture of the subject contrast. But yours works beautifully. Now for the nit pick part! ;-) In the background, right behind the couple's head is a light with red banner that take ones eye right past them at first glance, unfortunately once seen, it continues to be a distraction each time you look at the picture.. How do you get away from it at the moment of shooting and not give yourself away as a "visual distraction" to the couple or old chap with the paper? Not likely much, as this is a see it, react, shoot! And damn the distractions. Given today's PhotoShop the red flag would be easily removed. Even though the red dot is there at the moment, the picture content is powerful enough a viewer can live with it. ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant
