It's easy to get compelling photos in compelling circumstances--that's why war photography is so popular, and that's why a single photo of a burning Concorde taken with a disposable camera can be sold for so much money. Remember that photos do not always portray what they appear to portray (ask Eddie Adams or Nick Ut).
