SonC replies: These adapters are all solid hunks of metal with no optics, and I've noticed no problems. It is admittedly a goofy arrangement, and you have to make sure everything is snugged up, especially with the Canon adapters. The old formula 19mm Vivitar looks for the world like the 19mm Elmarit R. (hmmmmm . . . but it is slower, I think f3.5. It makes a nice sharp picture, and I don't notice any softness though much lower in contrast than my Canadian Glass Leitz lenses. I don't use it very much because I'm kinda hooked on my 28mm Elmarit (I just like the way it sees things) for wide angle stuff; though I am intrigued by this new Voigtlander 21, and the 15mm.
