After I acquired the 100 macro and the 35-70 macro, there was no need to keep it. The lens is very good, and can function as a normal lens if you need to have a macro handy, and the 2.8 is not a problem, and the size is not a problem. Otherwise, the cheaper 50 Summicron-R is a better lens. The Summicron viewfinder is one stop brighter, it is lighter, and the focus is faster. What else do you have? If you really need to do lots of macro work, then save some more money and get the 100 macro. If you only do occasional macro work, consider the 35-70 macro. The 60 is a long lens, so the 35-70 is not a big difference.
