I can say "Gee what if you used a Leica M or R even" and next year he'll bring a Canon EOS to some other amazing deal. Where's the Leica's Dan? What kind of situation does it need to be to be shot with with a Leica M? I think it is good for other things then kids birthday parties. GIVE it is shot!! I say but i said that already. DAN is determined to not trust his important photographic situations to his Leicas. As nice and well meaning a guy as i know he is. This is bound to make many of us wince. TOO MANY CAMERAS! Put them all in storage for a year, take the batteries out. Shoot for a year with only M's!. I did. THEN tell me how many shots you mist. I think you will be surprised to find how few. If any. Especially if you put a 280 on a R8 when you need some definite reach. The always predictable Mark Rabiner Portland, Oregon USA http://www.rabiner.cncoffice.com/
