I did not meant to imply that the official distributor would not honour
warranty when the camera was purchased in another country. If it was
properly purchased ANYWHERE in the world then Leica warranty depots will
honour the international warranty of two years. The problem is with gear
that is NOT sold through official channels anywhere in the world (how this
is possible I am not sure).
