If the product I'm photographing is slightly flawed, I can "fix" it - hand made prototype that in the final version is gonna have 3 buttons instead of 2 - no problem just clone another button in. Can't possibly get it all in focus? - - shoot 2 or more frames and blend them together - issue resolved! Dust and lint all over the object - just a few mouse strokes and its perfectly clean. Need a little drop shadow? - you get the picture by now, I'm sure. OTOH - I LIKE real film - it makes me work! Lots of the above can happen to a scan from film but most likely not for me, I get what was there when I pushed the button and I LIKE that. And I want every square millimeter of that little negative working for me. Henry
