I recall processing two repairs in one month with both units having fractured take-up spools. Another weakness has been the metering semiphore which wasn't built to the same rugged standard as its big brother-the Leica M-5. All this can probably be overlooked with careful handling and an acceptance of its limited optical choices. If your intention is for a real 'knockabout' unit you might consider the Canonet QL17-great viewfinder, auto ex, a great lens (some say Summicron like in quality) and its got that great 'quick load' feature.
