Looks like a cheap UV dirty filter with no lens shade but as i type this i look up and see "50/2, 90/4, Ultron 35/1.7, Jupter-3,and a Contax T2." So maybe you are shooting wide upon and much of that glass you are using does not respond so well to that. It does appear you are shooting wide open on your fave shot: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=233010&size=lg as you've got the girl in focus and not the guy and it's not exactly a DOF problem! What with ASA 800 film I'd think you could stop down a few to get them both! You don't need 250th of a second! Gorgeous family which goes without saying! I'd rent an 8x10 view camera for the next family get together! :) Mark Rabiner
