I understand the 90/2 APO ASPH M is second only to the 28/2 Summicron M in terms of overall sharpness, and it's superb wide open. The 90/2 is even ahead of the 180/2 and the 100/2.8 R lenses (though I doubt anyone would notice). I'd love to own the 2nd sharpest lens -- and sharpest tele -- in the Leica line. I'd also take the 90/2 APO ASPH over 75/1.4. But that's just my preference.
