If so your lens hood is a 12524 and you can use the asph model's hood cap (14043). The asph model's hood (12526) is exactly the same as yours but the two catches that hold the hood cap on are more pronounced and "sharper" for a better grip on the hood cap. You can order the hood cap separately but if you order the hood it comes with a cap. The price that collectors will pay can be more for a limited production of a certain lens. The last few years of the non-asph 35/2 were supposedly manufactured in Germany, but, only if you have a mint lens. Certain M models were made in limited numbers in Canada and these get a premium if they are in collectable condition. In the collectors world it is not location, location, location; but, numbers, numbers, numbers.
