This is why the Zeiss (Leica) 15mm Super-Elmar and the Zeiss 16mm Hologon
are $5000 plus lenses.

I owned and used a 15mm Super-Elmar for over ten years. It is a fantastic
lens. Sharp corner to corner and very little falloff. No center filter needed.

The Heliar is a few hundred bucks. What would anyone expect... ?
