[Leica] OT: Prints from Color Negs

Howdy - Heres my dilemma - I prefer to shoot with color negs because of 
their greater lattitude.  But in my area the Pro-Lab does not produce 
batch printing and the amateur labs all have 1/2 wits running machine 
prints that show no obvious previewing. I'm looking for recommendations 
of national labs that will process a roll and print 4x5 or 4x6 prints 
that could be considered proof prints.  I'm willing to pay $.50 per 
print - any recommendations?  Also any glowing recommendations for 
internet service bureaus - I could always scan selected color negs and 
then send the digitial files to a service bureau for outputing to 
paper.  Any thoughts?
