I've spoken only of some of my gear.I'm afraid to be considered ostentatious. "How you find time to learn the ins and outs of these various systems I'll never know!!!" Remember I'm a retired man. "Perhaps you could upload some images or point us your website! Then we'll have some idea visually we're your coming from!" I have not a web site but if you give me your address I'll send some of my pic not better or worse than any others' ones. And I'm speaking about lenses quality not my pics quality. "that ridiculous toy: the Contax G 45 is better than our noble (yet creaky) 50 Summicron." Contax G 45 is far to be ridiculous; is one of the best lenses I kwon. Have you tried it? I did a seroius test comparing Leica, Carl Zeiss, and XPAN lenses following rigorously the instructions of Chasseur d'Images and the result surprised me: the best was XPAN. I beg the pardon of Leica and Contax owners but I am not biased. How I could be if I owns all the three and when is strongly raining, very often in the Basque Country, I project my slides or make tests at home.(I do not like TV). I know that owners of the brand of their dreams are very sensibles at adverse judges but I am not in love with any of my cameras. Perhaps with my Super Ikonta gift of my father, photo pro, 50 years ago. When in the Contax list I commented that I had received my Contax N1, yes Mark another new system! You see is probably a mental desease! and I had sent the camera back getting back my money due IMHO to a severe metering problem and that I'd lost confidence in the camera I received some mails that seemed come from Spanish Inquisition! Age and probably the tolerance produced for living in a politically intolerant country make me sceptical about absolut perfection. But I am happy to stay in the lists because there is plenty of clever and sensible boys and girls whose mails give me nice moments. And for sure I'll follow to do that. There are too, very good pros from whom we can improve our technic. Excuse me if I am sometimes OT but it happens to me sometimes that I need to remember in wich list I am and remember too tha many member do not wish to hear comments about other gear. Thanks again Mark for your kind comments. Félix
