me neither, unfortunately. I was all set to go and photography this but I
realised getting arrested, which is always a possibility at these events,
would be pretty stupid in view of my current immigration application. There
will probably be something in Toronto too and I might try that.

I find the wall they built around Quebec City quite extraordinary. I don't
think this would be tolerated in most mature democracies. Even more
extraordinary is the govt and police's refusal to answer questions about it.

I do think this has all the makings of something quite nasty.

One suggestion for those who ARE photographing: if you are afraid of film
being seized, take a few stamped addressed envelopes and periodically post
your exposed film to yourself when you past mailboxes.
