Last time I checked that was the reason that I enjoy photography in general. The best prices that I have seen for the bodycaps are at Calumet. Depending on the camera they range in price from $30 - $50. The Leica M is $45 Here is the Calumet site for all pinhole body caps; http://www.calumetphoto.com/default.taf?pageload=/calumet/prodsearch.taf~_func tion=KeywordSearch~Keywords=pinhole%20bodycap~ItCat1=~ItCat2=~mfg=~ItItemNo=&_ UserReference=86735DFEE458D9FD3ACF3E44 And for the Leica M; http://www.calumetphoto.com/default.taf?pageload=/calumet/prodsearch.taf~_func tion=KeywordSearch~Keywords=pinhole%20bodycap~ItCat1=~ItCat2=~mfg=~ItItemNo=&_ UserReference=86735DFEE458D9FD3ACF3E44 Look at it another way in that a pinhole for the M is likely the cheapest lens that you will find new or used for this camera. BTW I have come to think of my pinhole bodycap as the anti-Noctilux. It does not suck in photons, it repels them. I can testify that it has a quite wide field of view. I put my 24mm finder on the camera and just guess from that. I just built my first pinhole camera from scratch. I consists of a Polaroid 545 4x5 film holder, a large cigar box lined with black flocking paper, a f/160 pinhole and a plywood shutter. My plan is to use Polaroid pos/neg film to get large negatives to print with a Saunders 4550 II enlarger. Down the road I will be using a pinhole camera that takes 8x10 negatives and then doing contact prints with them. Zack Schindler N8FNR
