I ain't EVEN gonna touch that line! ( Actually- the more I read about this
period in history, the confuseder I get!) Everybody had their own name for
everybody else, and it is damn near impossible to keep everything, and
everyone straight with out a program- and I think they don't print a program
because they either want to confound the un-initiated, or no one has been
able to figure out how to write one!

and cradles the gut, so to speak!

Actually, if it has been written by Gore Vidal the Iliad would have been
hailed as a wonderful exploration into alternate lifestyles; if Norman
Mailer had written it, it would have been dismissed as a lot of male
'bonding', macho posturing, and chauvanistic braggadoccio!
