Gerhard -- Help me understand this..."You can also measure the light
reflected off your hand for an incident reading." It seems an oxymoron
to me... reflected light as incident light?    Thanks.  /matt

You balance the LEDs till the center one (green) is the only one lit.
The
angle of reading is quite narrow, and you have to decide which elements
of
the picture in front of you, you want to measure.  You can also measure
the
light reflected off your hand for an incident reading.

So basically you take a light reading first, and then frame your
picture.
It works, I have more problems focusing than to get the exposure right.
