Douglas - how were you printing Scala - on Type R paper?  Presumably for us digital types it would scan just like a regular tranny?

I've stopped using it, only because it's a pain to print; but it's a
wonderful film, and gives a unique image -- not at all like any of the
traditional or chromogenic formulas.
