If there are clouds, I can see some value, and also in the full shadow case... but a scenic taken at noon with no clouds and a red filter would sort of scare me from printing the thing at all.... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net Again, especially when you're shooting b/w in the middle of the day or with a bright sky, consider using a yellow, orange or even red filter to punch up contrast.
