The weirdest one I have has five different views, none of them labelled by a focal length, only a, b, c, d, and (you guessed it!) e. I have the darndest problems finding lenses in camera stores to match, no-one seems to stock 'a' lenses any longer, let alone the rest of the alphabet! regards, Jem - -----Original Message----- From: onetreehillclw [SMTP:onetreehillclw@compaq.net] Sent: 14 March 2001 00:40 To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Let us now praise external viewfinders any idea how many different finders Alpex made? chris - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jem Kime" <jem.kime@cwcom.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 3:14 AM Subject: RE: [Leica] Let us now praise external viewfinders > Chris, > I bought an Alpex finder too, recently. > It was for the 28mm focal length and what was really weird was that the > ratio of the cut out window at the front was obviously not 24 x 36, could > be the equivalent of 34mm or even 32mm, maybe it would suit those early > Canons or Nikon rangefinders with the different format size! > Jem > > -----Original Message----- > From: onetreehillclw [SMTP:onetreehillclw@compaq.net] > > I love my SBLOO 35 finder on my M3(I don't like the "eyes") > I just purchased a Alpex 35mm finder.
