Hi Muhammad

The Leicaflex can't be calibrated for Alkalines, unless some
compensating circuitry was added, the discharge curve is too curved
and as far as I know the Alkalines are 1.5V not 1.35V! It may have
been calibrated for Silver Oxides also 1.5V? The mercury batts are
1.35V. I have seen a variance of between 1/2 and 1 1/2 stops in some
cameras between merc, alk and Silver batts, but the best way to find
out is to compare it against a known accurate meter or shoot some
film.
