I use the Piezo inks and driver from www.piezography.com.  It works very
very well on my 1160, but I have been having problems getting rid of banding
on my 3000.  The detail is stunning, as well as the tonality.  I also use it
to print contact sheets, and they come out very very good.

I am amazed that a $200 printer (the 1160) can do as well as it does.
