I did eventually make it to Monterey - thanks for everybodies suggestions. I
took my M6 with 90,50,35 and 15mm lenses, a Mamiya 7 and an X-pan.
I used the 15 a lot more than I expected on the rocky shores. the more I use
it the less I see it as a gimmick.
