Don't forget that the Noctilux, being a photon sucker, is actually FASTER than f1.0. It may say 1.0 on the lens, but we all know that in T-stops it's about 0.9 or 0.8. This is also due to the photon-funneling effect of that big lens hood. This all explains why the depth of field of that lens is so narrow anyway. I think it's measured in terms of the thickness of a single UV filter. (He ducks and runs away) Byron.
